My Very Own Designed Hand Sewn Beaded Sandals

This is one of my proud achievements to be able to sew and designed my very own Peranakan beaded sandals myself. This design is similar to the Louis Vuitton french fashion design. Every single bead is meticuously hand sewn with my naked eyes and the beads used are known as the charlotte cut beads or the "potong" beads. The beads are cut at a certain angle to create the shine and luster, thus causing it to sparkle.

Here's the actual shoe face before sending to the cobbler:-

Mary Anne, wow you work is so exotic! Love your Czech glass works, they're so rare and beautiful and I love the colour combinations. :)

irene g, thanks for the compliment. It took me 2 months to finish my sandals and I sewed them during my lunch hours. For the tapak, it's done by the old uncle at Maude Road, Blk 1. He chargs about S$90 - S$100 per pair. :)

Hello Yochana,

Yes, I do sell the nonya beaded shoes faces, as for the making into shoes, you would have to go to the old uncle at Maud Road Blk 1.
